Jon and Lisa have been married for 15 years and have three children - Elliott, Barrett, and Kelsey. They met while attending Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee and currently reside in Birmingham, Alabama. Jon graduated from Lee where he earned a bachelor's degree in psychology in 1989, and later attended the University of Georgia where he completed a master's degree in counseling in 1991. Jon spent eleven years in corporate America. This tenure ended when he accepted the call to full-time ministry in 2001. In 2001, Jon joined Covenant Heirs International, a spirit-filled marketplace ministry in Birmingham where he served for three years in an associate capacity. In January 2004, Jon and Lisa formed Jon Potter Ministries, a full-gospel ministry that has a heart for the body of Christ to return to a place of intimacy with the Father. God uses Jon and Lisa in the gifts of the Spirit and they have witnessed many miracles and healings as they preach an uncompromising gospel! In addition to conferences, evangelism, and ministering in the pulpit, Jon and Lisa teach weekly Bible studies where they speak to a broad cross-section of the body of Christ. Jon is a "chaplain* and mentor to businessmen; as well as, he meets weekly with those who are bound in sexual brokenness and addiction. Lisa joins Jon in ministry with a strong prophetic mantle combined with a wonderful sense of humor.
